Continue Print job, Touch-Display
It might be necessary to push the
filament gently into the hose while
starting to extrude it via the display or
Repetier-Server.
To finally continue the 3D-print simply click
on
Continue
on the touch-display
.
The tool
head will start moving from the parking
position to the last print position and starts
printing again.
Filament is Still Available
If a jam gets detected although there is still a sufficient amount of filament on the spool, please check the
following things:
• Does the touch display show the target temperature? If not, please contact the Support of German Re
pRap or your reseller:
https://www.germanreprap.com/support/
• Did you set the correct material specific temperature? Here you can find an overview of all the mate-
rials provided from GRR:
https://www.germanreprap.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Materialuebersicht_final.pdf
If you set the correct temperature and the nozzle is still hot, please try to retract the filament out of the
extruder as described on the page before using the touch-display.
It might be necessary to grab the filament at the end of the feeding hose and pull the it gently while
retracting it.
After removing the filament, cut off the last 30cm and try to feed it into the extruder again.
If you can manually extrude filament without any issues, try to continue printing with reduced speed
(approx. 50%), maybe you did not use the proper settings for generating the G-Code.
In case its not possible to extrude filament using the touch-display, try to use a new spool of filament. If this
does not solve the problem stop the 3D-print and check if the extruder gear is dirty or the brass nozzle is
clogged.
Please note:
Due to the water cooled hot end, it might be necessary to increase the temperature by
10°C to extrude properly.
