8.6 Cooling System
The cooling system is liquid based and stops the heat, generated by the hot-end itself, transferring into
the mechanical parts of the extruder (upper part). This enhances the process reliability dramatically.
maintenance schedule :
every 12 months, exchange liquid
every 24 months, exchange hoses
Cooling system, X500pro
The cooling system is located on the right side of the x500pro, it starts automatically when the printer
is turned on. If you are printing without using the heated chamber, please increase the temperature by
20°C (68°F).
8.7 Heated Chamber
The heated building chamber (80 °C
max.) allows to process the latest tech-
nical filaments for highly durable parts
and functional models.
Warping and shrinking effects of con-
ventional filaments can be reduced
effectively.
In Simplify3D the Heated Chamber can
be controlled in the tab Temperature,
simple adjust the desired temperature
by changing the value in the box. For
example, just double click on the 60°C
on the right hand side and enter a new
value.
Please contact your local reseller for setting
up a maintenance schedule.
