7.8 Firmware Update

The easiest way to perform a firmware update is to use Repetier-Server. First you must download the

firmware of your 3D printer as a BIN file and unzip it:

https://www.germanreprap.com/firmware/

Choose the printer you want to update from the Repetier-Server main window. Click on the 3 bars on the

top right corner to open the advanced settings and click on

Firmware Upload

• Tick the check box labeled as

verbose mode

• Make sure that in

Printer Board Type

the

Arduino DUE Programming Port

is selected

• Select the path of the BIN file as you click

Upload Firmware Image

• The upload and installation will then be executed

Firmware download

Attention:

Perform an update only after consultating your local reseller. Unauthorized firmware

updates can lead to failure or damage to the system.
