4.2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
4.2.1.
BUYER'SOBLIGATIONS
The purchaser must, within their respective competence and responsibility:
a. implement security measures;
b. inform the driver of the specific risks they face and make them aware of the essential rules of
prevention;
c. arrange for and demandthat the driver observes safety rules and uses the means of protection
made available to him.
4.2.2. GENERALPERSONNEL REQUISITES
The staff that interacts with/ uses the machine
must:
a. have read and understood all safety instructions in the user instruction manual;
b. be of age and possess a driving license and in any case have all the specific information about
the vehicle concerning :
b.1. trafficregulation in the country of employment
b.2. the meaning of signs and road markings
c. have no disability or have normal physical and mental condition;
d. have been informed and trained about:
d.1. the dangers of injury or other damages that may result from direct or indirect contacts;
d.2. the dangers associated with overheating, electrical arcingor radiation produced and / or
emitted by electrical equipment that may be present;
d.3. the dangers of non-electric kind that, as experience shows, can be derived from the
electrical equipment that may be present;
d.4. the dangers of injury or other damages resulting from the residual risks reported in this
User Instructions Manual;
e. have (or acquire through appropriate training), the requirements listed below:
e.1. general technical education sufficient to understand the contents of this User Instruction
Manual and to correctly interpret the electric diagram and all technical drawings enclosed;
e.2. knowledge of the primary rules of hygiene, safety and technology;
e.3. have overall familiarityof the machine and of any installed electrical equipment;
e.4. know how to react in case of emergencies;
e.5. know where to find the individual protective equipment and how to use it correctly, if the
manufacturer's instructions prescribe it or if the collective protection is insufficient;
f. In addition:
f.1. immediately report to the buyer the deficiencies of the devices and means of security and
protection, and other dangerous conditions, if any, of which they know, and in case of urgency,
make every effort within their competence and ability to eliminate or reduce these deficiencies or
dangers;
f.2. not remove or modify the devicesand other means of security and protection without prior
authorization;
f.3. not carry out operations or maneuvers on his own initiative that are outside their assigned
duties and that can jeopardize their own safety or that of others:
f.4. not wear rings, wristwatches, jewelry, torn clothing, scarves, ties, or any loose garment or
accessory that could cause risk; tighten the sleeves around the wrists, and always keep long hair
well tied back;
g. be physically and mentally fit to carry out the work of particular technical difficulty;
h. be instructed about the use and maintenance of the machine;
i. be able to understand and interpret the operator's manual and safety regulations;
j. be aware of emergency procedures and their implementation;
k. be able to operate the specific type of equipment;
l. have read and understood the operating procedures defined by the Manufacturer of the machine.
