Chapter 6 - Operating the Drive with CANopen or DeviceNet
The following parameters have to be set on the drive to operate with CAN-
open or DeviceNet.
Enable the desired protocol:
I.753 - SBI CAN mode
= [1] CANopen, or =[2] DeviceNet
Select the SBI address:
I.750 - SBI address
= [3] (default)
Select the desired baudrate:
I.751 - CAN baudrate
Configure the drive parameter to be transferred to/from the drive every bus
cycle:
I.760 .. I.775
= ipa of the desidered parameters.
Save parameters with
C.000 - Save parameters
:
Switch the drive off-on.
CANopen example:
Run and Reverse commands from Bus.
Ext fault command from terminal “Digital input 5”.
Frequency reference from Bus.
Drive sends to Bus Drive status and Actual Output frequency.
To operate under the conditions described above it is necessary to configure
the following parameters:
P.000 - Cmd source sel = [2] “Virtual”
F.050 - Ref1 Channel = [3] “Freq ref x”
I.400 - Inp by serial en = [3].
I.000 - Dig input 1 cfg = [1] “Run”
I.001 - Dig input 2 cfg = [2] “Reverse”
I.005 - Dig input 5 cfg = [3] “Ext Fault NO”
I.760 - SBI to Drv W0 = 1000, H.000 - Digital command
I.761 - SBI to Drv W1 = 311, F.100 Frequency reference 0
I.770 - Drv to SBI W0 = 1042, H.034 Drive status
I.771 - Drv to SBI W1 = 1, d.000 - Output frequency
