Check Baby alarm (continued):
2. Baby Mode:

The Check Baby alarm activates if
baby temperature deviates from the
set temperature by ± 1°C. The heater
will cut-off if the baby temperature
exceeds the desired value by 1°C. An
alternating single tone alarm is
activated for this condition and the
indicator, which is above the Check
Baby symbol, will illuminate. Once
the baby temperature is within 1°C
of the set point, the alarm will reset
and the heater will turn on once
more.

Pressing the Alarm Silence key
silences this alarm; the visual
indication will stay on until the baby
temperature is within 1°C.

In Baby Mode if the temperature of
the baby stays at less than 30° C for
more than 3 minutes, the Check
Baby alarm activates with both
audio and visual indication. The
heater will also be cut-off.

Pressing the silence key will mute the
audible alarm, switches off the visual
indication
and restores the
controlled heating.

Probe Failure/Disconnect Alarm:

The Probe Failure alarm is active during
the Baby Mode of operation.

The alarm turns on when the skin
temperature probe fails, or is disconnected
from the warmer.

The red indicator above the probe failure
symbol illuminates as seen in the figure 19.

In Manual Mode, if the probe fails/ is
removed or disconnected, heat is
maintained with blank baby temperature
display.
 In the Baby Mode, during probe failure the
Probe Failure alarm illuminates with a
single tone alternating alarm. The audio
alarm alone can be muted for three
minutes by pressing Alarm Silence key.
