Calibrate External Sensors
Use the following procedure for calibrating external pressure sensors.
(1)
Connect the required external transducer to the EXT TRANSDUCER socket located
on the rear of the instrument.
(2)
Allow the instrument’s temperature and the temperature of the external
transducer to stabilize in the calibration environment for a minimum of 1 hour.
(3)
Switch the instrument on, enter
CALIBRATION
mode and select
EXT SENSORS
from the
CALIBRATION
menu:
(4)
Select the transducer to be calibrated from the transducer menu using the
cursor keys and press ENTER:
If the sensor to be calibrated is not in the directory, or no sensors are listed in the
directory, press the
F1
key (ADD NEW SENSOR). This will place the sensor in the
directory, allowing it to then be selected.
(5)
