Operation Overview
MODULE Slot-x Interface

The Module Slot-x Interface supplies power and signals to the module.
・
The power is supplied at +24V and -5V. Each slot has a polyswitch (self-resetting fuse).
・
The DS-7000 module provides independent serial communication from each slot.
・
The DS-5000 module communicates by time-sharing using the same signal wire.
・
Failure of one unit or one slot in the DS-5000 module may render all the modules unusable.
BUFFER
The buffer acts as a buffer for signals from the IB7CPU and supplies signals to each slot.
