Explanation of Each Block 

1. Power Supply Unit 

・ 

Input power supply  AC100-240V  50/60Hz 

・ 

The commercial power source from the AC inlet is input to the power supply unit via the AC 
inlet fuse and AC power switch. 

・ 

The power supply is converted to DC24V by the power supply unit and input to the CPU board. 

2. CPU Board (IB7CPU) 

・ 

Input power supply    DC24V 

・ 

The CPU board has various interfaces centered on the 32bit-RISC CPU. It performs signal 
processing, communication processing, display processing and control. 

・ 

It is connected to the power unit and board. 

3. Module Mother Board (IB7MBD) 

・ 

The module mother board has six slots for connecting the option modules. 

・ 

The power supply to the modules is protected against short-circuiting by the polyswitch 
(self-resetting fuse). 

・ 

It is connected to the CPU board. 

4. Connector Board (IB7CNT) 

・ 

The Connector Board has a DYNASCOPE connector for connecting the DSC-7300 and a 
Module connector for connecting the HS-700. 

・ 

Each connector has a Link LED which indicates communication performance. 

・ 

It is connected to the CPU board. 

5. Cooling Fan

 

・ 

The cooling fan cools the equipment. 

・ 

The cooling fan is controlled by the CPU Board at three levels, Low, High and OFF, depending 
on the conditions, such as the status of the internal temperature modules. 

・ 

It is connected to the CPU board.
