4.13 Switching on the server

CAUTION!
●
Before switching on the server, make sure the top / side cover is
closed. In order to comply with applicable EMC regulations
(regulations on electromagnetic compatibility) and satisfy cooling
requirements, the PRIMERGY TX300 S7 / RX350 S7 server must
not run while the top / side cover is removed.

Follow the safety instructions in chapter "Important information" on
page 47 .
Ê
Connect all peripheral cables to the rear connector panel of the server.
Ê
Connect and secure the power cords as described in section "Connecting
the server to the mains" on page 125 .

Connect all power cords to the power outlets.

To provide true phase redundancy, the second power supply should
be connected to a different AC power source from the other supply. If
one AC power source should fail, the server will still continue to run.

Press the On / Off button to start up the server.
Ê
Ensure that the power-on indicator above the On / Off button is lit green.
