Installing the new system fan module

Ê
Fit the system fan module into its bay in the system fan holder as shown with
its label facing the server rear.
Ê
Gently press down on the system fan module until it locks in place.
Ê
Ensure that the connector of the system fan module properly engages with
the fan connector on the system board.
Ê
Ensure that the new system fan module spins up.

Please note:
When a system fan module fails, the remaining fans will start
operating at full speed. After the defective fan has been replaced, all
fans will continue to run at full speed for a couple of minutes, before
resetting to a lower speed.
Ê
Ensure that all system fan modules reset to a normal operating
speed before performing concluding steps.
