Date
The date for franking is set automatically to the current date by the system clock. You
can advance the date for the franking imprint to frank mail pieces for shipment in the
next few days. PostBase Vision does not allow unauthorised entries, e.g. a franking
date that is too far ahead or backdating.
You can see the currently set date in the Home screen.
Setting the franking date
• Open the M

PostBase Vision opens the setting menu for
the franking date.
• Type the desired date
or
set the date using the buttons
and
.
• Confirm the displayed date with OK.
If the date is in the future, an icon appears
before the set date.
If you generally frank your mail after the
last pick up or past the deposit time, you
can use the ‘Auto Date Advance’ feature
(see chapter 16.11).
