Setting the franking imprint

The illustration above shows an example of a Mailmark™ franking imprint with two
advertising imprints.

Bilingual (Welsh / English) version

: You can order the bilingual version of the

‘Delivered by Royal Mail’ mark from FP for a fee. The current print image data is then
downloaded to your PostBase Vision via a synchronisation (‘System Sync’ function).

This chapter describes the required settings for franking and additional possible
advertising imprints:

– Postage / Royal Mail product (see chapter 5.1)

– Date (see chapter 5.2)

– Advert imprints (see chapter 5.3).

You can check the franking imprint settings and the imprint quality using a zero test
print. Read more about it in chapter 5.4.

Note: The examples in this reference guide show actual postal products. In case the
Royal Mail changes prices / products on short notice, corresponding software up-
dates to the rate table will be made available to your franking system in time. How-
ever, this does not apply to the documentation for your franking system.
