To set the time, follow these steps:
1. Enter the system screen from the setup menu.
2. Use the
∧
and/or
∨
soft key to highlight the line labeled
TIME
.
3. Press the MODIFY soft key.
4. Use the numeric keys to enter the time in this format: HHMM as described above.
5. Press the ENTER soft key to exit back to the menu options, or the ESCAPE soft key
to cancel the change and exit to menu options.
Note: For hour and minute values less than 10, a leading zero must be entered.
For example, if the time if 9:05, the user must enter 0905.
Date
The VT PLUS HF displays the date with the following information:
MM is the number between 1 and 12 corresponding to the month.
DD is the number between 1 and 31 corresponding to the day of the month.
YYYY is the year.
To enter the date, follow these steps:
1. Enter the system screen from the setup menu.
2. Use the
∧
and/or
∨
soft key to highlight the line labeled DATE .
3. Press the MODIFY soft key.
4. Use the numeric keys to enter the date in the format chosen as described in DATE
FORMAT .
5. Press the ENTER soft key to exit back to the menu options, or the ESCAPE soft key
to cancel the change and exit to menu options.
Note: For values of month and date less than 10, a leading zero must be entered.
For example, if the month is February, the user must enter 02 rather than 2.
Date Format
The VT PLUS HF has two date formats as shown below:
MM/DD/YYYY
and
DD/MM/YYYY
