Selecting the soft key for 

SYSTEM

 causes the 

VT PLUS HF

 to display the system 

selection screen. 

 

 

 

 

 

The soft keys are used as follows: 

 

BACK:  

Return to the previous menu 

∧

: 

 

Move up one menu item 

∨

: 

 

Move down one menu item 

MODIFY: 

Modify the highlighted item 

 

Settings can be changed to pre-selected options or to numeric values. For example, if you 
select 

FILTERING,

 then press 

MODIFY

, it will display the next option such as 

LOW

, 

OFF

, etc. On the other hand, when a numeric entry such as 

TIME

 is selected and 

MODIFY

 is pressed, it will clear the data entry and accept numeric input from the keypad 

until the

 ENTER 

key is pressed. Following is a detailed description of each of the 

settings. 

   

Note:

  Whatever option is displayed when the systems screen is exited will be 

saved and used for future measurements. 

Time 

The 

VT PLUS HF

 displays hours, minutes, and seconds on the display. However, the user 

can set only hours and minutes. The time is entered in the HHMM format where HH is 
the hours in 25-hour format (0 to 23) and MM is the minutes, a number between 0 and 
59.
