Adjusting the Flavor Level
To produce the best Flavor Burst
®
serving, the
flavor output must be adjusted to the proper
level. Each Flavor Burst
®
flavor is formulated to
dispense at a standard level 5 and, generally
speaking, this is the recommended flavor level.
However, differences in freezers, product mix,
and consumer preferences will determine what
level is most appropriate for your operation.
Fortunately, the Flavor Burst
®
system is
adjustable for both flow and taste, and may be
quickly adjusted at any time between servings.
1. Select the numbered key of a flavor to
adjust its dispensing concentration. (See
Figure 200.)

2. Press and hold the SYRUP FLOW key for
three seconds until the SYRUP FLOW
ADJUSTMENT light is illuminated. (See
Figure 201.)

3. Press “+” to increase the flavor
concentration or “-” to decrease the
concentration. The level is indicated by the
illuminated bars on the graph. (See
Figure 202.)

4. Repeat steps 1 and 3 (skip step 2) for each
flavor that needs to be adjusted. When
finished, press the SYRUP FLOW key to
exit the mode and lock in the syrup levels.

5. Draw a serving for each adjusted flavor to
determine if the syrup concentration level is
acceptable. Repeat this process for any
flavors that need to be adjusted again.
