16. Clean the exposed surfaces of the bag
fitment and the Syrup Bag Connector with
detergent water, a single service towel.
Brush the bag fitment with the Medium
Brush and the Connector with the Small
Brush. Then rinse and dry the parts using
clean water and single service towels. (See
Figure 68.)

17. Using a spray bottle of approved sanitizer,
spray the exposed surfaces of the bag
fitment and the Syrup Bag Connector. Let
the solution sanitize these parts for at least
5 minutes. (See Figure 69.)

18. Connect the other Pump Flush Adapter
assembly fitment to the Syrup Bag
Connector. (See Figure 70.)

19. Touch the number on the Keypad (1-8) of
the corresponding syrup line and pump you
wish to flush.
20. Touch the PUMP FLUSH key on the
Keypad to start the Pump Flush procedure
for the selected syrup line and proceed to
Step 21.
NOTE: PUMP FLUSH WILL CONTINUE FOR
15 MINUTES. YOU MAY CANCEL AT ANY
TIME BY TOUCHING THE “CANCEL ENTRY”
KEY. HOWEVER, EACH LINE MUST
COMPLETE THE FULL 15-MINUTE PUMP
FLUSH PROCESS BEFORE CLEAN-IN-
PLACE IS COMPLETE.
21. While the Pump Flush procedure is running,
perform Steps 8-10 and Steps 16-17 to
sanitize the next Syrup Bag Connector, bag
fitment and Syrup Bag Adapter.
NOTE: YOU MAY ALSO CLEAN THE
INJECTOR ASSEMBLY ACCORDING TO
DAILY CLOSING PROCEDURES DURING
THE PUMP FLUSH PROCESS AS TIME
ALLOWS. (See Step 33.)
22. Once the Pump Flush process has
completed, disconnect the Pump Flush
Adapter assembly from the Syrup Bag
Connector. (See Figure 71.)

23. Repeat Steps 8 - 22 until all of the syrup
lines have been flushed, and then return the
Pump Flush Adapter to its position under
the bottom center syrup tray.
