NOTE: The processor, stacker and PAT are shipped with their
original manufacturer packaging.
3.1.2 Inspection of Boxes
All packaged equipment must be inspected at the customer's site by
an engineer or an agent before unpacking begins. There are two Tip-
n-Tell and two Drop-n-Tell indicators fitted to the outside of the box
and the engine itself. The following steps are taken when there has
been damage, corrosion, or positive Tip or Drop indications, see
Figure 3.1 on page 3-3
below.

Record the observations on the delivery documentation.
2.
Inform the carrier, shipping agent and insurance agent.
3.
Record the observations on the
FFEI Installation Report
.
NOTE: If the Tip or Drop indicators on the Engine are not tripped
then the Engine has not been affected.
Units may be removed from their box only by an approved engineer
or representative. If there has been damage during shipping, unpack-
ing will have to be delayed. Do not proceed with unpacking until
authorized by the shipping and insurance agents.
NOTE: Markings on the box indicate which side is the front of
the module.
