6.3 Using the MMI (if Fitted) and PCI
Show the customer how they can navigate the MMI/PCI menus
between the two modes of operation: RUN and PAUSE. Explain the
options available for each mode.

6.4.1 Emptying the Chad Tray (with Punch)
Show how the tray is removed and re-inserted.
6.4.2 Emptying the Interleaf Bin (SAL & MAL)
Show how the bin is emptied and how to confirm the empty bin.
6.4.3 Cleaning the Spinner Mirror
Demonstrate how the spinner mirror is cleaned with the preferred
cleaning materials, and emphasise the dangers of damaging the mir-
ror coating. Also, explain that the L6 lens must not be touched.
Make sure they understand that Exposure Calibration is carried out
automatically after the mirror is cleaned. They need to re-linearise
from the RIP afterwards.
6.4.4 Checking the Platesetter Environment
Make sure the customer understands why the temperature and
humidity of the platesetter room and the plate store room need to be
within the specification given in the
Alinte4page User’s Guide
.
