Installation notes
- If you use more than 4 push-button modules (door station), you must power
the name-plate LEDs of the additional modules with an 12Vac supplemen-
tary transformer (see page 5.15).
- With this schematic a maximum of 50 internal stations can be used with
a maximum system distance of 150 metres.
- For the cross section and installation of the wires see table 5.3 on page 5.6.
- For the correct operation of the system, jumper J1 of all the video
distributors must be left in position 2-3 (open line). The line impedance is
determined by the video intercom connected to the LO output of the last
video distributor; if this output is not connected close it by positioning
jumper J1 appropriately. The line must not remain open (see page 5.8).
- We recommend to install all articles framed with a broken line in the same
switchboard.
Programming
After all the connections have been made and the system powered up,
proceed to programming the apparatus listed below in the order shown.
Door stations:
- Door station address
- First button address (encoder and additional button
modules)
- Enter the user names (digital keyboard)
Internal stations: - User address (see chapter 2)
- Activation of the buttons to turn on monitoring of the main
entrances (optional)
DM2444:
- Program the numerical interval of each output connected
(first and last user address of the riser)
- Program the external door station address on each en-
trance connected
Possible extensions of the system
- Higher number of users (using the diagram SI54VM12 on page 5.39)
- Internal stations in parallel in individual apartments (see page 5.18)
- Higher number of door stations (see page 5.19)
- Higher number of risers (see page 5.19)
- Increase the distance of the installation (see pages from 5.11 to 5.13)
- Application of actuators for various services (see page 5.20)
- Application of one or more keeper exchangers (see page 5.21)
Control switching ON from the videointercoms
To enable the control switching ON for the main entrances, you must
program the videointercoms and external door stations correctly (see
programming of internal stations and door stations).
For the operation it is necessary, by each videointercom,:
- press the button
(or
) to switch on the videointercom and view the
entrance that made the last call;
- for the individual or sequential activation of the various entrances, see the
video intercom features described in chapter 2.
It is not possible to turn on monitoring if there is a conversation going on
between internals or between an internal and any of the external door
stations.
Busy signal on the external door stations
A busy signal indicates that there is a call or conversation going on from the
another main external door station.
