17.2
Configuring the Thin Client.
17.2.1 Configure the network protocol (for network or point-to point connection).
The first time the Thin Client is turned on, a setup assistant comes up (language, IP address,
etc.). When necessary, in the option "Do you want this terminal to be managed by a Scout
NG manager?", select "No".
When the Thin Client startup is done, it shows several tabs that may also be used to configure
the Thin Client. On the "Setup > Network" tab, select the "Manually" option and set the IP
address (e.g. 10.0.0.102) and the network mask (e.g. 255.255.0.0). The network mask must
be the same at the Thin Client and at the CNC.
The software of the Thin Client has its own manual that is available on the manufacturer's website.
In case of doubt, refer to the manufacturer's documentation.
