Note:
Always place the drip tray at the bottom
of the unit before using the unit.
1. Plug the appliance into the power outlet
and turn the appliance on using the ON/OFF
button. The panel will now light up.
2. Place the cut and prepared food on the
racks and place them in the appliance. Never
place food items on the drip tray at the
bottom of the appliance.
3. Set the desired temperature using TEMP
and + or -. The temperature can be set from
35˚ C to 85˚ C in 5˚ C increments.
4. Adjust the drying time according to the
foods used and personal preference. A
shorter time makes for softer food, a longer
time creates crispier food. The time to be set
is at least 30 minutes.
5. The appliance will start drying immediately
once a time has been set. The remaining
time will be shown on the display.
6. If you want to adjust the time or
temperature in between, select TIME or
TEMP first and adjust with + or -. If you
want to stop the program, press the ON/
OFF button again.
ON/OFF
: Button to turn the machine on/off. Button flashes when machine is off with the plug
in the socket.
Remove the plug from the socket after each use.
TEMP
: To change the temperature in steps of 5˚C degrees (between 35˚C and 85˚C).
TIME
: To change the time by 30 minutes, minimum 00:30 hour, maximum 24:00 hours.
+
: To increase the time or temperature.
-
: To decrease the time or temperature.
LIGHT
: Button which turns on the internal LED lighting for 60 seconds.

Before you start using the Smart Food Dehydrator
Wash the drying racks, bottom plate, and silicone fruit roll plate only in warm water with a mild
detergent. Carefully clean and dry each component before use. Make sure the power cord is
unplugged when you insert the parts into the Smart Food Dehydrator.
