How to replace a Knife Blade
Warning: Sharp tool
This picture shows how the
Knife Blade
is aligned using two
Guide Pins
(a and b)
beneath the blade clamping.
1.
Loosen the two screws (b) of the
Knife Blade
clamping.
2.
Carefully remove the blade (a).
3.
Insert a new
Knife Blade
and make
sure that it is aligned with the
Guide
Pins
(c).
4.
Mount the new tool. (Note the
position of the
Guide Pin
).
5.
Ensure that the tool height is
calibrated on the
Measuring Station
.
About Tool Adjustment
• For the
V-notch Knife
, we recommend the manual procedures for
Tool Rotation
and
Center Offset
adjustment.
• When adjusting
Tool Rotation
and
Center Offset
, use a thin
Folding Carton
material.
• Remember that you should look at the bottom side of the material for correct alignment.
• The adjustment depends upon the actual material due to weight, structure and thickness.
• For optimal result, a fine tuning of the adjustments in the actual material should be carried out.
