pppoe add transport dialout eth
17.3.1 Syntax
pppoe add transport <name> dialout eth <interface> <port>
[accessconcentrator <concentrator>] [servicename
<servicename>]
17.3.2 Description
This command creates a PPPoE transport that performs dialout over Ethernet.
It allows you to specify the following information:
•
The PPP interface to the channel that Ethernet will use.
•
The Ethernet port that will transport data.
•
Access
concentrator
(optional).
•
Service name (optional)
17.3.3 Options
The following table gives the range of values for each option which can be
specified with this command and a default value (if applicable).

name
An arbitrary name that identifies the
transport. It can be made up of one or
more letters or a combination of letters
and digits, but it cannot start with a
digit.

The PPP interface to a channel that
transports PPPoE data. A single
interface can be used by multiple
channels. The interface value can be
any positive integer.

The system port that is used to
transport Ethernet data. To display
Ethernet ports, use the
ethernet
list ports
command.
