Removing a font cartridge
To remove a font cartridge, follow these steps:
1. Press the
ON LINE
button to set the printer off line.
CAUTION: Never insert or remove the cartridge while the
printer is on line.
2. Hold the edges of the cartridge and slowly pull it from the slot.
3.
Press the
ON LINE
button to set the printer on line.
Memory management
Your printer has a standard memory of 512KB expandable to 2.5MB
with the purchase of the optional 2MB memory board. An
additional 2MB can be added to the optional memory board for a
total memory of 4.5MB.
If you wish to print full-page, 300 dot-per-inch graphics or perform
other sophisticated print jobs, it is recommended that you install the
optional 2MB memory board.
Reset
The printer can be reset in the following three ways:
1. By turning the power off and then back on
2. By holding down the
RESET/CONTINUE
button for three seconds
(with the printer off line)
3. By sending the ESC E command.
