5-16 Setting Cutting Options
Reloading media for cutting
If you have removed the media from the printer and need to reload it for cutting,
follow the steps below to realign the media.

To realign media
1 Replace the cutter blade with a target site.
2 Load the media as described in Chapter 2.
3 Align the site with one of the registration marks on the printed piece.
4 Press ORIGIN.
5 Move the media to another registration mark using the Position keys.
6 When the site is aligned with the registration mark, press ORIGIN.
7 Repeat steps 5 and 6 for a third registration mark.
4 Press NEXT DISPLAY until the menu below appears.
Selecting the RTS Control Status (GP-GL Mode Only)
When the command mode is set to GP-GL, you can select the control status of
the RTS signal for the RS-422 serial interface. When set to ON, the RTS signal
remains constantly ON. When set to OFF, the RTS signal goes ON when the
computer is ready to send data, after which the data is output. The RTS Control
status is usually set to ON.

1 Press Pause to place the printer in PAUSE status.
2 Press NEXT DISPLAY.
