Diagram 5-3 Acceleration/Deceleration time
The EM15 provides totally four groups of acceleration/deceleration time for selection. You can perform switchover
by using a DI terminal. And you can set the four groups of acceleration/deceleration time through the following
function codes: Group 1: b0-21, b0-22; Group 2: b2-03, b2-04; Group 3: b2-05, b2-06; Group 4: b2-07, b2-08
b0-23
Time proportion of S-curve start segment
Default
30.0%
Setting Range
0.0% ~ (100.0% minus b0-24)
b0-24
Time proportion of S-curve end segment
Default
30.0%
Setting Range
0.0% ~ (100.0% minus b0-23)
These two parameters respectively define the time proportions of the start segment and the last segment of S-curve
acceleration/deceleration A.
In Diagram 6-4, t1 is the time defined in b0-23, within which the slope of the output frequency change increases
gradually. t2 is the time defined in b0-24, within which the slope of the output frequency change gradually decreases
to 0. Within the time between t1 and t2, the slope of the output frequency change remains unchanged, that is, linear
acceleration/ deceleration.

To satisfy requirements of different applications, the EM15 provides three acceleration/ deceleration time units, 1s,
0.1s and 0.01s.
