7.5.6.
Replacing a distribution circuit breaker or fuse in a Lorain CIP or Lorain
CIP Access power system
Replace a distribution circuit breaker or fuse as described in the following
procedure.
Note:
When removing the circuit breaker or fuse block in the lowest
position, be careful not to damage any wires in the wire form coming out
of the slot in the bottom left hand corner of the distribution section.
Procedure 7.9 – Replacing a distribution circuit breaker or TPS fuse
Step Action

Notify the alarm center of the possibility of incoming alarms during this
procedure.

Open the front door of the controller and distribution section of the Lorain
CIP or Lorain CIP Access shelf.

For a circuit breaker, insure that it is in the OFF position, and then pull
firmly on it until it pulls out from the main DC rail and the associated load
clip.
For a TPS fuse, pull on the fuse holder containing the fuse to be replaced
until it comes out of its fuse block.
