• Draw out the oil of the high pressure pump (environment protection).
• Fill up oil to upper mark at the oil dipstick in the gear box.
3.2.7 Descaling the High Pressure Cleaner
If there is any scale build-up in the High Pressure Cleaner the high pressure
pipe resistance increases and the unloader valve conveys water into the pump
circle.
The high pressure pipe resistance can be checked by operating the High Pres-
sure Cleaner from the most distant wash place by checking the operating pres-
sure with the high pressure hose disconnected. If there are more high pressu-
re pipes, every high pressure pipe must be checked separately. If the high
pressure pipe resistance exceeds 25 bar, descale the high pressure cleaner.
Pay careful attention on the directions for use and accident
prevention regulations, above all VBG 1, §§ 4, 14, -4 -47 (e.g. the
wearing of gloves and protective goggles).
In accordance with the statutory regulations, use only approved
boiler cleaning compounds for descaling.
The resulting gases of the descaling process are in ammable. Do
not smoke during descaling process. Take care to provide
adequate air ventilation (if required wear respiratory protection).
For descaling proceed as follows:
• Close water supply shut off valve.
• Operate the High Pressure Cleaner until the oat container is empty.
• Fill up the oat container with approx. 3 l descaling acid.
• Open the water supply shut off valve.
• Remove the spray nozzle and descale separately.
• Insert the spray wand into a empty container with a capacity of approximately
20 l and commission the High Pressure Cleaner by pulled trigger gun.
Operate the High Pressure Cleaner until descaling acid emerges from spray
lance. Stop the device for 20 minutes.
• Operate the High Pressure Cleaner until clear water is emerging from spray
wand. Check the system pressure. The pipe resistance pressure must have
the same value as the recorded value in the factory test report. Otherwise
repeat the descaling process. The high pressure pipe system could also be
descaled.
