2 Commissioning and operation
2.1 Precautions to prevent accidents
The operator has to wear protective clothing e. g. waterproofed clothing,
rubber boots, protective glasses, headdress, ear plugs (depending on noise
level) etc., when using the High Pressure Cleaner in the working area.
Before commissioning always inspect visual the High Pressure Cleaner from
outside for damaged assemblies or components (high pressure hose, supply
cable or any other electrical or mechanical parts). Do not commission
damaged High Pressure Cleaner.
High pressure jets can be dangerous if subject to misuse. The jet must not
be directed to persons, animals or to voltage supplied electrical equipment
(machines, devices, cables, connections, electrical outlets etc.).
Before cleaning the High Pressure Cleaner always decommission the device
and ensure, that supply voltage from electrical facility power outlet is switched
off. Switch off the main switch (2, gure 1). Ensure, that the High Pressure
Cleaner is not switched on unintentionally or unauthorized (e. g. lock main
switch).
The High Pressure Cleaner shall not be used by children.
The High Pressure Cleaner noise level under maximum load is 82 dB (A). If
the noise level exceeds the allowed legal values in the regulations, caused by
applying the high pressure jet to noise amplifying surfaces, the operator and
other persons in the working area must wear ear plugs.
Before changing the cleaning detergent, ush out the complete high pressure
system for minimum 2 minutes by pulled trigger gun. This avoids subsequent
dangerous chemical reactions.
For operation of oil or gas red High Pressure Cleaners in enclosured rooms,
make sure that the exhaust is leaded off properly and there is suf cient fresh
air circulation.
The High Pressure Cleaners central unit and remote controls are equipped
with a push button emergency-off. If human life is in danger (e.g. by potential
lethal voltage, by high pressure jet etc.), activate the push button emergency-
off for separating the High Pressure Cleaner from the supply voltage.
Observe the local planning authority regulations.
