Adjusting the color of the output image
You can adjust the video being output by the PR-1000HD. These adjustments can be made for red/
green/blue (RGB).
* These settings are maintained independent of the project.
1.
In Play mode or Edit mode, click the [Open Preferences] button.
2.
Click the [Adjust Video Output Color] button.
3.
Select the color channel that you want to adjust.
• "All channels": All channels (red, green, and blue).
• "Red": Adjust the red.
• "Green": Adjust the green.
• "Blue": Adjust the blue.
4.
Adjust the color you selected in step 3.
• "Brightness": Adjusts the brightness.
• "Contrast": Adjusts the contrast.
• "Gamma": Adjusts the gamma.
5.
"Sharpness": Adjusts the sharpness.
6.
Specify whether de-interlacing will be applied.
7.
If “Deinterlace” is checked, interlacing will be removed.
If "Deinterlace" is unchecked, the following limitations will apply to the "Video output monitor"
image if you are outputting at 1920x1080/59.94p, 1920x1080/59.94i, 1280x720/59.94p,
1920x1080/50p, and 1920x1080/50i, and 1280x720/50p.
• The play mode and clip parameter color correction effect will not be applied.
• The transition effect will not be applied.
• The scaling effect will not be applied.
• The video output adjustment effect will not be applied.
However, the above effects will be applied to the actual video output.

Click the [Save] button.

Adjusting the resolution of the output image
You can specify the resolution of the output image from the PR-1000HD. Refer to “Adjusting the
resolution of the output image” (p. 97).

If you notice flicker or jaggies
in the output image, try
checking “Deinterlace.” De-
interlacing will minimize flicker
or jaggies.
In the “Adjust Video Output”
dialog, you can click the
“Default s” button to return the
video output adjustments to
the factory settings. And you
can click the "Cancel" button to
discard the changes of
settings.

Correct Contrast
Correct Gamma
Correct Sharpness
Cancel Interlace Output
