o. Transition effect palette

Transition effect settings buttons
Here you can select the type of transition effect. For details on
operation, refer to “Transition Effects” (p. 56).
o-2.
[Transition Effect Time] slider
This adjusts the time of the transition effect. You can specify a time
between 0 seconds and 4 seconds.
By clicking the triangle located at the default value you can reset
this to the default value. For details on operation, refer to
“Transition Effects” (p. 56).
p. Audio settings panel
p-1. Volume level meter
This indicates the volume level.
p-2. [Audio] slider
This adjusts the volume when playing back audio.
By clicking the triangle located at the default value you can reset
this to the default value.
q. [Audio] Slider
This adjusts the volume during audio playback.
You can reset to standard values by clicking the triangle at the position corresponding to the standard
value.
r. [Defaults] Button
Restores the three sliders to the standard values. The standard settings are shown below.
• [Transition Effect Time] Slider:
0.0 sec.
• [Audio] Slider:
0 dB
• [Playback Speed] Slider:
100%
s. Palette Area
Displayed here are thumbnails of the clips contained in the palette and their settings. Clicking on a
thumbnail starts playback of the clip, and the video images are displayed in the monitor.
Also displayed are the clips’ Loop playback settings.
s-1.
Keyboard identifier used when a clip is played back
with the keyboard (p. 54).
s-2.
Loop Mode setting, set separately for each
individual clip (p. 72).
s-3.
Length of clip from the In point to the Out point.
s-4.
This is the length of the transition time specified for
each clip (p. 72).
s-5.
This is the loop mode setting specified for each clip (p. 72).
s-6.
This is the file format of the clip.

: Playback stops at the final frame or the
out point.
•
: Clip plays repeatedly.
•
: The next clip is played back.
•
: The next clip is selected.
•
: The specified clip is played
back.
