Creating Titles

To create text that flows from top to bottom, like the ending credits of a motion

picture, you use the Roll feature.

Select the title type.

Make "rolling titles" the title type. In the Titler window, click "Mode" to display the

mode menu. Two types of rolling titles are available. Click to select the type you

want.

For information on how to create crawling titles, refer to "Creating Crawling Titles" (

p. 210

When you change a rolling title you have created to a different type of rolling or crawling title

by clicking "Mode," the entered text may not appear at the intended location, or may not be

displayed at all.

Create text and shapes.

Follow the procedure for "Creating Text" (

p. 138

), "Drawing Shapes" (

) to place the text, shapes, pictures, or other items in the

editing window.

User defined styles as needed (
