The DV-7DL PRO can synchronize operation with a Roland multi-track recorder.

Performing operations synchronized with a multi-track recorder makes it possible to

carry out difficult audio editing using just the video editing unit.

Amazing sense of realistic presence using 5.1-channel surround sound features

Synchronization with the multi-track recorder is accomplished through

MTC (

MIDI

Time Codes) and

MMC (MIDI Machine Control). MTC and MMC output from the

DV-7DL PRO requires a dedicated MIDI interface.

To sync, connect MIDI IN on the

UM-1X or

UM-1S X to MIDI OUT on the VS (or

whatever model you are using), and connect MIDI OUT on the UM-1X or UM-1SX

to MIDI IN on the VS.

The following settings enable the DV-7DL PRO to send MTC and MMC signals to

the multi-track recorder. For information about the settings for the receiving of MIDI

on your VS series device, refer to the owner’s manual for the corresponding model.
