Capturing Video Material

Check the video and audio.

Load a tape into the playback deck, perform playback, and confirm the image. If the

video appears in the monitor in the capture screen, everything is working correctly.

Adjust the audio level.

For analog video, use the volume slider to adjust the volume level. Adjust so that the

loudest sound is at about 80% and the meter is not pegged.

Start capture.

Start playback of the videotape. After playback starts, start capture on the DV-7DL

PRO.

Click the “Capture Start” button.

A stable signal is not obtained in the few moments right after the tape starts to turn.
It is a good idea to wait until the tape has been running for several seconds before
you start the capture process.
