Capturing Video Material

You can set an In point and an Out point in captured video material, thereby

specifying the portion of the video material to use. This lets you set the duration of

the video material.

Move the position bar to the area where you want to start use.

*

For information on how to move the position bar, refer to "Controlling Playback of Material"

(

Set an In point.

Click the Set In Point button to set an In point.

Move the position bar to the area where you want to end use.

Set an Out point.

Click the Set Out Point button.

Setting the Length of Material (In Point/Out Point)

You can set material In points and Out points for individual pieces of material. These
are different from the sequence In points and Out points on the Timeline. Only one
set of sequence In points and Out points can be set on the Timeline.
