Recording the Sequence

Start output.

In the Output Tool, click the "Start Output" button to start output.

*

If you cannot click the "Start Output" button, it means that rendering is required.

*

For more information, refer to "Performing Rendering" (

*

When the connection is made to a DV jack and correct output cannot be performed, try

selecting "Output Select" again. When you do this, turn on the DV device, and if it is a

digital video camera, set it to video mode instead of camera mode.

Stop recording.

When output of the sequence ends, stop the recording device.

*

When the connection is to a DV device, the DV device automatically stops recording when

output of the sequence ends.

Note, however, that this is limited to DV devices for which recording can be

remotely controlled.

Quit the Output Tool.

Click the "Close" button. The Output Tool disappears and the editing screen returns.

When One Digital-video Device Each Is Connected to DV Jacks 1 and 2

When one of the two connected digital-video devices is set up to enable video output
in the camera mode, playback mode, or the like, output of video to the other digital-
video device may stop. When one digital-video device each is connected to DV jacks
1 and 2, either set up both video devices to enable recording, or use "Output Select"
on the DV-7DL PRO to select the connected DV device you want to use for recording

video.
