Relative Superheat
In order to improve the superheat regulation it is possible to change from a preset to an adaptive superheat
setpoint. The adapative superheat setpoint can move freely between upper and lower limits at a preset
maximum speed. The controller calculates on a cyclical basis the most suitable superheat setpoint for the
current state.
The following parameters are available:
Setpoint SH uplim.z 1/2: Upper limit of the calculated superheat setpoint in zone 1/2.
Setpoint SH lwlim.z 1/2: Lower limit of the calculated superheat setpoint in zone 1/2.
Setpoint Setp.RSH z1/2: Setpoint for the relative superheat in zone 1/2. This value has an effect on the
superheat setpoint calculated by the controller. A higher value for Setp. RSH leads to the calculation of a
higher superheat setpoint and vice versa.
Setpoint Max.slw.rate: Setpoint for the maximum speed at which the calculated superheat setpoint can
change
Oil Return Function
This function serves to improve the oil return in the refrigerant circuit. At intervals of 6 hours, under
corresponding conditions, a cycle with a reduced superheat setpoint is implemented. Following completion of
the cycle the system is returned to closed-loop control.
Setpoint OilReturnFct: Oil return function ON/OFF
Setpoint Setp.OR z 1/2: Setpoint of the reduced superheat when oil return function switched on and active
in zone 1/2.
