Firmware V3.13
21.04.2021
108/466
Enthalpy-dependent run time
For this operating mode, a
in the E*LDS system equipped with a humidity sensor and a room
temperature sensor is required.
The case controller then determines the optimum appropriate run time for the heater at any time from the
values of these two sensors. There are two parameters for this: the emergency run time and the offset for the
enthalpy-dependent frame heater.
The value entered for the parameter
Enthalp. Offs.
(menu 2-5-2) is added to the run time determined by the
case controller depending on room humidity and temperature. It is recommended to initially leave this value set
to zero. If problems are observed, for example misting of window elements, this value can then be corrected
upwards. A higher heat output is then achieved.
If no values for room humidity and temperature are received from a pack controller, the case controller uses the
value entered for Not-Einschaltdauer (0-100%) as run time.
Notes and limitations for the use of the enthalpy-dependent heating
There must always be at least one
equipped with humidity and room temperature sensors in the
store. If multiple pack controllers are equipped with these sensors, the case controller will select a pack
controller during a restart / first start and from then onwards only still use the values of this pack controller.
For trouble-free operation, it is not permitted to connect only a room temperature sensor or only a humidity
sensor to a pack controller. The two sensors must always be present as a pair on a pack controller.
Failure of the pack controller / CAN bus when using enthalpy-dependent heating
Emergency run time (menu 2-5-2) is always switched to automatically if the case controller has not received
any more values from a pack controller over a time of ten minutes.
Pane heater for service counters (controller type UA 141 E)
Via a voltage pulse (e.g. pressing and holding a button provided by the customer for min. 10 seconds) at digital
input 3 for the frame heater (terminals D31/D32, factory setting) the corresponding relay of the case controller is
activated, and then deactivated following the elapse of the specified run time for the pane heater. This function
is available for the UA 141 E as supplement to the
Fixed run time
or
Enthalpy-dependent run time
functions.
The function of the digital input can be configured via the parameter
Inv. D3 (and Inv. D2)
in menu 6-2-4.
In order to remain compatible with previous software versions, a fixed run time of 0% for any
the UA 141 E. This means that the pane heater is then only controlled via the digital input.
It is recommended to only equip one pack controller in a store with the humidity and room temperature
sensors. The humidity and room temperature sensors should be positioned so that the delivered
values are representative for as many refrigeration points of the store as possible.
The pane heater can be activated via digital input 3 (terminals D31/D32). The input must also be
parametrised as
TAST.SCHEIB
(menu 6-2-4, factory setting); the on/off function is not available until
then; see chapter
Terminal assignment of the 230 V AC digital inputs
.
