4.4 Commissioning and checking the
heating system
A
In order to reach the required tempera-
ture, the heating system should be
switched on approx. 15 - 20 minutes be-
fore the start of paving.
- Switch on the paver's engine.
- Switch on heating system ON / OFF
switch (1).
The heating system is activated and the
heating process begins.
During the heating process, the individu-
al screed parts' heating systems' indica-
tor lamps (2) light up.
Once the set temperature has been
reached, the indicator lamps go out one
after another.
Once all screed parts have reached the
desired temperature, paving operation
may begin.
If additional heating occurs during pav-
ing operation, this is indicated by the in-
dicator lamps (2).

observed.
