AVVIAMENTO MOTORE
Note
alta”.
Attenzione
Temperatura ambiente normale
(compresa tra 10
°
C e 35
°
C):
1) Spostate l’interruttore di accensione sulla
posizione
ON
(fig. 25.1).Verificate che la spia
verde
N
e quella rossa
sul cruscotto
risultino accese.
Importante
motore. Se la spia resta accesa, fermate
immediatamente il motore e controllate il livello
dell’olio. Non avviate il motore se la pressione
dell’olio è insufficiente.
Attenzione
Il cavalletto laterale deve risultare in
posizione di riposo (orizzontale).
2) Spostate la leva comando starter in posizione
orizzontale (fig. 25.2).
STARTING THE ENGINE
Note
Follow the “High ambient temperature”
procedure to start the engine when it is warm.
Warning
Before starting the engine, become
familiar with the controls you will need to use
when riding. If in doubt about how to use a
control, seek advice from your Ducati dealer.
Never start the engine indoors, as its toxic
emissions may lead to loss of consciousness or
death.
Regular ambient temperature
(10 to 35
°
C/50 to 95
°
F ):
1) Move the ignition key to
ON
(fig. 25.1). Make
sure both the green
N
light and the red light
on the instrument panel come on.
Important
The oil pressure light (showing that oil is
warming up) should go out a few seconds after
the engine has started. If the light stays on, stop
the engine immediately and check oil level. Do
not start the engine if oil pressure is insufficient.
Warning
The side stand must be fully up (in a
horizontal position).
2) Move the fast-idle lever to a horizontal position
(fig. 25.2).
3) Check that the stop switch (G, fig. 25.3) is
positioned to
, then press the starter button
(H).
Let the engine start without using the throttle
DEMARRAGE DU MOTEUR
Notes
Pour redémarrer un moteur encore chaud,
suivez la procédure décrite pour “Température
ambiante élevée”.
Attention
Avant de démarrer le moteur, il est
recommandé de vous familiariser avec les
commandes que vous devez utiliser durant la
conduite.
Ne démarrez pas le moteur dans un endroit clos;
mort.
Température ambiante normale
(comprise entre 10
°
et 35
°
C):
1) Déplacez le commutateur d’allumage en
position
ON
(fig. 25.1). Vérifiez si le témoin vert
N
et le rouge
sur le tableau de bord sont
allumés.
Important
repos (horizontale).
