SOSTITUZIONE OLIO MOTORE E
CARTUCCIA FILTRO

Note
Questa operazione deve essere eseguita a
motore caldo in quanto l’olio in queste condizioni
risulta più fluido e la sua evacuazione è più rapida
e completa.
Posizionare un recipiente sufficientemente
capiente sotto al motore.
Rimuovete il tappo di scarico (1) dalla coppa
motore e scaricate l’olio usato.
Importante
Non disperdete l’olio usato e/o le cartuccie
filtro nell’ambiente. Raccogliete l’olio in un
contenitore sigillato e portatelo al più vicino
centro di recupero per poter essere riciclato.
Controllate che non vi siano particelle metalliche
attaccate alla estremità magnetica del tappo di
scarico e riavvitatelo nella coppa con la relativa
guarnizione. Serrate a fondo.
Utilizzando la chiave speciale disponibile presso il
servizio ricambi Ducati oppure con una comune
chiave per filtri rimuovete la cartuccia (2) filtro
olio dalla coppa.
Importante
Il filtro rimosso non può essere riutilizzato.
Montate una cartuccia nuova, avendo cura di
lubrificare con olio motore la guarnizione.
Avvitatela nella sua sede e bloccatela a mano.
Ad ogni 2 cambi d’olio è consigliabile pulire il
filtro aspirazione olio a rete.
Svitate il tappo esterno (3) e sfilate l’elemento
filtrante.
CHANGING ENGINE OIL AND FILTER
CARTRIDGE

Note
Warm up engine before changing oil. Oil
will become thinner and will drain off easily and
quickly.
Place a container with adequate capacity under
the engine.
Undo the drain plug (1) on the engine sump and
drain off oil.
Important
Used oil and/or filter cartridges should be
disposed of according to environment protection
rules. Collect oil in a container, seal it and bring it
to the nearest collecting centre for refinement.
Make sure there are no metal residues sticking
to the magnet of the drain plug and refit plug into
the sump with its seal. Tighten it fully.
Use the special tool available from the Ducati
Parts Department or a common wrench for
filters, to remove the oil filter cartridge (2) from
the sump.
Important
Do not reuse the filter you have just
removed.
Install a new cartridge, be sure to smear some
oil on the seal.
Fit the cartridge into its seat and snug it tight.
The suction net filter should be cleaned every 2
oil changes.
Undo the outer plug (3) and extract the filter
element.
To clean the filter, blow it with compressed air

Notes
Cette opération doit être effectuée lorsque
le moteur est chaud, car l’huile dans cette
condition est plus fluide et son évacuation sera
plus rapide et totale.
Positionnez un récipient de capacité suffisante
sous le moteur.
Retirez le bouchon de vidange (1) du carter
moteur et évacuez l’huile usée.
Important
Ne jetez pas l’huile usée et/ou les
cartouches du filtre aux ordures car elles sont
polluantes. Recueillez l’huile dans un conteneur
étanche et amenez-la au centre de récupération
plus proche, pour son recyclage.
Veillez à ce qu’aucune particule métallique ne
demeure attachée à l’extrémité magnétique du
bouchon de vidange et vissez celui-ci de nouveau
dans le carter avec le joint correspondant. Serrez
à fond.
A l’aide d’une clé spéciale, disponible auprès du
service pièces détachées Ducati , ou avec une
clé standard à filtres, retirez la cartouche (2) de
filtrage huile du carter.
Important
Le filtre retiré ne peut pas être réutilisé.
Montez une cartouche neuve en prenant soin de
lubrifier le joint avec de l’huile moteur.
Vissez-la dans son emplacement et serrez-la à la
main.
