7. Rotate counterclockwise until upper joint breaks.
If joint does not break at spindle,
use auxiliary wrench.
• Engage auxiliary wrench.
• Rotate spindle
counterclockwise until wrench
flats engage into pipe flats.
• Turn spindle counterclockwise
until joint breaks.
• Disengage auxiliary wrench.
8. Engage breakout wrench.
9. Rotate spindle clockwise until wrench flats align with pipe
flats.
10. Rotate pipe counterclockwise to unscrew bottom joint.
11. Disengage breakout wrench to release pipe.
12. Slowly move carriage back until automation stops pullback.
IMPORTANT: Pullback will stop for approximately 1.5
seconds only.
13. Release joystick.
14. Rotate spindle counterclockwise and move carriage back
slightly to unscrew pipe from saver sub.
15. Move spindle away from pipe.
