OPERATION
1.
When the suspension is deactivated
•
When the suspension is deactivated, the electronic control unit energises the solenoid (1) by sending an
LS
signal to
the priority valve (in the case of the gear pump version) or to the variable displacement pump.
•
This allows the pressurised oil from the pump (2) to flow to line
a
and compress the membrane of the accumulator (3)
up to the maximum circuit pressure.
•
The oil is discharged from the piston side through passage
B
and through the solenoid valve (7) which is energised.
•
The piston (4) is consequently pushed upwards to its stroke-end position, thereby returning the system to fixed axle
condition.
•
The suspension is deactivated by the operator pressing a switch.
