The
rmon collection history
Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode command
enables a Remote Monitoring (RMON) MIB history statistics group on an interface. To remove a
specified RMON history statistics group, use the
no
form of this command.
Syntax
rmon
collection history

bucket-number

index
— The requested statistics index group. (Range: 1 - 65535)
•
ownername
— Records the RMON statistics group owner name. If unspecified, the name
is an empty string (Range: 0 - 20 Characters).
•
bucket-number
— A value associated with the number of buckets specified for the RMON
collection history group of statistics. If unspecified, defaults to 50. (Range: 1 - 65535)
•
seconds
— The number of seconds in each polling cycle. If unspecified, defaults to 1800.
(Range: 1 - 3600)

This command has no default configuration.

User Guidelines
• This command cannot be executed on multiple ports using the
interface range ethernet
command.
256 to 511 Octets
The total number of packets (including bad packets) received that are
between 256 and 511 octets in length inclusive (excluding framing bits, but
including FCS octets).
512 to 1023 Octets
The total number of packets (including bad packets) received that are
between 512 and 1023 octets in length inclusive (excluding framing bits, but
including FCS octets).
1024 to 1518 Octets
The total number of packets (including bad packets) received that are
between 1024 and 1518 octets in length inclusive (excluding framing bits, but
including FCS octets).
