Replace the front bezel, if removed.

Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet and turn on the system and attached peripherals.

Removing the 1x2 Flex Bay Drive Bracket

Remove the front bezel, if attached. See
"Removing the Bezel" on page 50

Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and
peripherals.

Open the system. See

Push the latch on top of the peripheral bay to the right to release the flex bay bracket and push the
back of the flex bay bracket partially out of the chassis. See
Figure 3-26
.

Note the order of SAS cable connections on the flex bay backplane and disconnect the SAS cables.

Disconnect the power cable from the flex bay backplane. See

Remove the 1x2 flex bay drive bracket from the chassis bay.
