You must have network access and administrative privileges to the ESXi host.
Procedure

Within the vSphere client, select the host.

Click the
Configuration
tab.

Select
Security Profile
, click
Properties
associated with the
Firewall
section.

Enable or confirm the following services for access through the firewall:
a
Syslog
b
SSH Client
c
NTP Client
d
vCenter Update Manager

Click
OK.
