DISASSEMBLY

FIGURE 1:

Remove both axle arms.

FIGURE 2:

If disassembly is difficult, heat the check nut (1) of

the flange (10) at 176°F (80C°).

NOTE:

Heating is meant to loosen the setting of Loctite on the
nut (1).

FIGURE 3:

Position tool T1 (See drawing T1 p. 58), to avoid

pinion rotation.
Loosen and remove the nut (1); also remove the o-ring (11).

FIGURE 4:

Remove the flange (10) complete with guard (2).

FIGURE 5:

Remove the sealing ring (9).
