(25) from the differential carrier (23).

FIGURE 14:

Remove the ring gear (6) capscrews (4).

FIGURE 15:

Remove the spacer (42) and the ring gear (6).

FIGURE 16:

Remove the screws (24) joining the differential

unit half box.

FIGURE 17:

Using a plastic hammer, take the half box (23, 5)

to pieces.

NOTE:

Write down the coupling marks.

FIGURE 18:

Remove the upper half box (23).
