Description
There are two different action types to deal with an MST instance. They are listed as follows:
1) add_vlan: To map specified VLAN lists to an existing MST instance.
2) remove_vlan: To delete specified VLAN lists from an existing MST instance.
Format
config stp instance_id <value 1-64> [add_vlan | remove_vlan] <vidlist>
Parameters
<value 1-64>
- Enter the MSTP instance ID. Instance 0 represents a default instance CIST. The
DUT supports 65 instances (0-64) at most.
add_vlan
- Defined action type to configure an MST instance.
remove_vlan
- Defined action type to configure an MST instance.
<vidlist>
- Enter the newly added CLI Value Type. It is similar to
<portlist>
type, but the value
range is 1 to 4094.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To map a VLAN ID to an MSTP instance:
DGS-3620-28SC:admin#config stp instance_id 2 add_vlan 1
Command: config stp instance_id 2 add_vlan 1
Success.
DGS-3620-28SC:admin#
To remove a VLAN ID from an MSTP instance:
DGS-3620-28SC:admin#config stp instance_id 2 remove_vlan 2
Command: config stp instance_id 2 remove_vlan 2
